Sennheiser ew 112P G4 Camera-Mount Wireless Microphone System with ME 2-II Lavalier Mic

The Sennheiser ew 112P G4 is the wireless lavalier kit that news crews, documentary teams and wedding videographers across India have trusted for years. The kit has three parts. The SK 100 G4 bodypack transmitter clips onto a belt or waistband and powers the ME 2-II, an omni-directional clip-on mic that picks up clear speech even when your subject turns their head. The EK 100 G4 receiver slides onto your camera’s shoe with the included CA 2 adapter and plugs into the camera’s mic input with the supplied 3.5 mm cable. An XLR adapter cable is also in the box for cameras and recorders with XLR inputs.

Setup is quick. Run an automatic scan on the receiver to find a free channel, then sync the transmitter over infrared with one button press. Adaptive diversity reception and Sennheiser’s HDX compander keep the signal steady and the noise floor low, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 110 dBA or better. Range reaches up to 100 metres in open space, enough for walk-and-talk shots and interviews from across a hall.

Both units run on two AA batteries for typically 8 hours, or on Sennheiser’s BA 2015 rechargeable pack. The metal housings are built for daily field use, and the whole kit fits in a small pouch next to your camera.
